Color Purple Gallery

There’s such a tight-knit, loving and friendly theater community in Colorado. They make me feel like I’ve known them forever and that I’ve been (and will be) doing theater forever. And of course I feel like I’ve been Celie my entire life. I’m having an amazing time during this Color Purple regional premiere, surrounded by a crazy-amazing cast and crew at the Aurora Fox. We’re going strong until May 12th, hope you can catch a show, and if you cannot, feast your eyes on the vibrant colors below :)

Van Dyke Cafe, Miami – March 2nd

This is it, ONE more show! I should have titled it the “Dreams Come True” Tour… because I remember distinctly thinking about whether or not I’d ever be able to go on tour.

Getting up on stage in front of familiar faces is nerve wracking enough, but performing in front of completely different crowds in different cities for the first time? It was a terrifying thought… But having performed in Vegas, LA, New York, Chicago, Boston, I can’t even put into words how much of an exciting and exhilarating experience it’s been!

The best part for me? Meeting new fans. People who like and were singing along to my music. And realizing that music and love are the languages that truly break down all barriers. Priceless memories, but we’re not done!

This left me speechless and made the entire tour worth it…

Overwhelmed with such positive emotions and feelings right now. This is from a concertgoer after my show at Beyu Caffe:

If you can see her live you will walk away feeling that something very positive just occurred in your life.
